The WindFloat Atlantic (WFA) project — being developed by EDP Renewables (EDPR), Mitsubishi subsidiary Diamond Generating Europe, Chiyoda, Engie and Repsol — will be made up of three or four turbines attached to Principle Power’s WindFloat substructure, anchored in 85-100 metres of water 20km off Viana do Castelo.
