The suspension applies to all ECO 122 models being assembled in Alstom's factory in northeastern Brazil, which were previously on the list with five other manufacturers as being eligible for cheap financing from the BNDES.
“The turbine … had its accreditation suspended for six months, from October 2015, due to specific issues which have already been explained to BNDES,” GE told Recharge in a statement, saying it had explained the situation to all its customers.
