Scottish Renewables commissioned consultants O'Herlihy towrite the Employment in Renewable Energyin Scotland 2013 report after surveying more than 540 companies.
Its findings suggest 11,695 people are currently in full-timeemployment in the sector, an increase of 5% from the previous year’s study.
“These findings would seem to suggest that renewable energy isattracting more women than other more established energy sectors,” said JennyHogan, director of policy for Scottish Renewables.
