Theproposed Scioto Ridge Wind Farm will consist of up to 176 wind turbines and a 4.8mile-long 345-kilovolt (kV) transmission line and a 345 kV substation.

The facility will include up to 60 miles of access roads, 83miles of underground electric collection lines, and four meteorological towersin addition to the turbine structures and transmission line.

Ohio had 428MW of installed wind capacity on 1 January 2013,according to the American Wind Energy Association.
