Gamesa will deliver 24 G90-2.0 MW turbines for a wind farm being built in Fujian province by Fujian Energy.
The Class I turbines are designed for the high winds encountered in the coastal region where the plant will be sited – with speeds of 70m/s and typhoons frequently seen, Gamesa said.
The manufacturer said it has installed more than 3.5GW in China.
