Geycek was developed in central Anatolia by EDF’s subsidiary Polat Enerji and a Canadian institutional investor.

Each holds a 45% stake in the Turkish project company, with the remaining 10% owned by Batiyel group.

The plant uses turbines from Germany's Enercon.
