The Recharge4040 list – compiled from a long-list made up of nominations submitted over the last few months – includes representatives from organisations in areas as diverse as renewables technology, development, finance, government and advocacy.
The group will form a powerful new network as the world grapples with the challenges of transitioning to a clean, sustainable energy model.
The work of the 40, all aged 40 or younger, will be highlighted over the coming months, in the build-up to a unique event in October.
