TheChinese manufacturer is now set to install 17 of its 6MW turbines for the first, 1.76bn yuan($282.6m) phase of the 200MW project.

TheShanghai municipal authorities approved the installation in late April,according to Chinese media reports.

Shanghai Lingang Wind Power, a joint venturebetween Huaneng New Energy and Shenneng New Energy, is developing the siteroughly 9km off the coast of Shanghai’s Lingang port.
