The three are the 68.7MW Miassaba 3, the 55.1MW Rei dos Ventos 1 and the 60.1MW Rei dos Ventos 3 plants.

The wind farms sold power in the reserve auction of 2009 and should have started operations in 2012. However, delays in the construction of links to the transmission grid left them idle until now.

France's Alstom supplied the 1.67MW ECO 86 turbines for the trio.
