RES Offshore signed the deal with the Offshore Renewable Energy Catapult, which runs the Blyth project.
The company will deliver maintenance, data management and round-the-clock remote operations for the met-mast.
RES was previously involved in offshore testing and snagging during construction.
UK seabed landlord the Crown Estate recently invited expressions of interest from developers to get a project up and running by early 2017.
