While works on foundations for 11 Nordex N117 3MW turbines and a transformer station started in April, turbines are slated to be installed by the autumn of this year.
During the third quarter of 2014, Wpd also plans to start building the infrastructure for a 36MW wind park in nearby Kalajoki.
Wpd plans to build a total of 150MW across Nordösterbotten province in the coming three years.
