The contract was signed within the framework of the last A-5 auction covering projects that will need to operate in the next five years. The turbines will be ready for commercial operation by December 2017.
The deal is Alstom’s first project with CPFL Renovaveis. Alstom will manufacture the nacelles at its Camacari plant in Bahia State.
