OX2 – which until changing its name in May was called O2 – said the deal adds a project portfolio of about 220MW to its books.
Greenfield, which has 11 staff, will become OX2 Wind Poland.
OX2 CEO Johan Ihrfelt said: “Poland is an exciting market, and we have now acquired the local expertise we need to start the construction of several projects within the next two years.”
OX2 is already a major developer in the Nordic region, where it claims to have built almost half the current operational onshore wind capacity.
