The two plants that started producing power on June 19 were the 23.1MW Taíba Águia and the 14.7MW Taíba Andorinha in the northeastern state of Ceará.

They are controlled by Queiroz Galvão Energias Renováveis.

Aneel also said that the 16.1MW Juremas and the 20.7MW Macacos were ready. But they won't be producing power as they still lack a connection to the grid.
