The 90MW wind farm is one of the largest projects in Poland and scheduled for commissioning at the end of 2015.

The contract covers project management, supply, erection and commissioning of the 3MW machines that come with a 110-metre-diameter rotor and a 90-metre-high steel tower. Alstom will also provide operation and maintenance for two years.

"A contract for the delivery of 30 wind turbines opens a new range in a long-term co-operation between our companies," says Krzysztof Müller, investments department director at PGE Energia Odnawialna.
