Built for Dutch offshore contractor Van Oord, the 123-metre-long multipurpose vessel will be equipped with a carousel able to carry more than 5,000 tonnes of cable, and a high-capacity crane.
Van Oord chief executive Pieter van Oord comments that the investment in the Damen vessel "highlights the company's drive to continuously serve new and existing markets by investing in state-of-the-art technology and marine ingenuity".
