Senvion in 37MW UK onshore deal
Germany-based wind turbine manufacturer Senvion has signed a deal with investment firm InfraRed Capital Partners to supply 11 of its 3.4M104 machines for the Crook Hill wind farm in Lancashire, northern England.
Partnerships for Renewables (PfR) will be the construction manager for the 37.4MW project.
Construction is due to start in April 2015, with the wind farm's handover planned by July 2015.
Senvion is a unit of Indian turbine maker Suzlon and previously was called REpower.
It is Senvion's first contract with InfraRed Capital Partners.
PfR has previously worked with Senvion and recently opened the Oakdale wind farm in Caerphilly, Wales, which features the first serial-produced Senvion MM100 turbines in the world, the manufacturer says.
