The order is part of a Master Supply Agreement (MSA) for up to 750MW announced by the two companies last September.
“The projects have long-term power purchase agreements in place with creditworthy counterparties, and will create new construction and long-term operations jobs in the local communities,” says Ryan Pfaff, executive vice president of EDF Renewable Energy.
EDF is among Vestas’ largest wind turbine customers in North America.
