Construction is due to begin in the spring of 2015 and conclude within six to nine months. Project cost is $180m.
In a 3-0 vote, commissioners backed Infinity’s plan to utilize either up to 55 Vestas V110-2MW turbines or up to 59 General Electric 1.85MW machines. Both models have a tower height of 262 feet, but the Vestas turbines would be taller at 443 feet versus 405 feet.
