Crook Hill, developed by investment group InfraRed Capital Partners, consists of 11 3.4MW Senvion wind turbines.

Hamburg-based, Suzlon-owned manufacturer Senvion also has a 20-year O&M contract at the wind farm.

A 15-year power purchase agreement (PPA) has been signed with Norwegian utility Statkraft.

Construction of Crook Hill is already underway and it is due to start generating electricity for around 25,000 homes from July 2015.
