Blue Transmission – comprising Macquarie Capital Group, 3i BOFL Investments and Frontier Power – will run the transmission assets for 20 years after being selected in a competitive bidding process.
The contest was run under Ofgem’s offshore transmission owners (OFTO) regime.
Blue Transmission won the London Array OFTO last September, and also operates the Sheringham Shoal and Walney links.
