Gamesa will supply 95 of its G114-2.0 MW turbines to developer EDPR for use at the Waverly wind farm in Coffey County, Kansas – its biggest order yet received for that model.
The manufacturer said that deal falls under the earlier framework agreement signed by the two companies for up to 450MW by the end of 2016.
Delivery is scheduled in the third quarter of 2015 with commissioning expected by the end of next year.
