The report from the G9 Offshore Wind Health and Safety Association, in partnership with the UK’s Energy Institute (EI), identifies 66 lost work days in 2013; 12 restricted work days; 30 medical treatment injuries; 61 first aid incidents; 345 near hits and 102 hazards.

There were no fatalities reported by the G9 companies last year.

“Within the G9 member companies, health and safety is of utmost importance,” says Benj Sykes, chairman of the G9 board of directors and Dong Energy’s UK country manager.

“The
