Elecnor will construct an up-to-75MW plant on public land in the southern Jordanian city of Maan, with operations due to begin by the end of next year.
The group was chosen after a government tender process that began in 2013, Elecnor confirmed to Recharge.
Local reports say the project will be government-owned and financed by a regional development fund.
The Maan project, slated to use 2MW Gamesa turbines, will be the second major wind farm to be built in Jordan.
