The Viking wind farm was given the all-clear by judges at Edinburgh’s Court of Session last month, when they upheld Scottish Government consent for the huge onshore project.
But campaign group Sustainable Shetland – which has fought a lengthy battle against the wind farm – said it will lodge an appeal at the Supreme Court in London.
Viking – slated to come in at 412MW – is being developed by a group including utility SSE, which owns 50% of the project.
