When fully online, these facilities and several others under construction by different developers will move Oklahoma into fourth place among states for wind generation capacity after Texas, California and Iowa.

The three projects are Mammoth Plains and Seiling I, both 198.9MW, and Seiling II, 100.3MW.

A company spokesman told the Enid News and Eagle newspaper that GE will supply 293 turbines for the three projects, which represent a $750m capital investment.
