VSMC – a joint venture of VolkerWessels and Boskalis – will carry out supply, installation and testing of 76 infield cables.
The work is due to start in August 2015 and be done by the following summer.
VSMC got the contract from development partners Vattenfall and SWM, who took a final investment decision on the project earlier this week.
VSMC has already worked on Vattenfall's Dan Tysk offshore project.
