Two of the new plants, using 2.3MW Enercon turbines, are located in the Aude region. They are the 9.2MW Conilhac and the 11.5MW Plaine de l'Orbieu wind farms.
The latter is an extension to the 12MW Luc-sur-Orbieu project, built and operated by EDF EN since 2007.
Located in Aumelas town in the Herault region, the third development, the Vallee de l'Herault wind farm, consists of Vestas turbines with a capacity of 14MW.
