Located on the island of Upolu – home to nearly 75% of the population – the two-turbine, 550kW development will supply 1.5GWh of power per year to the community.
The project was delivered under the UAE Pacific Partnership Fund, managed by the Abu Dhabi Fund for Development, and represents one of the largest-ever investments in clean energy across the region.
The Samoan wind farm is the second project to be completed under the fund.
