Allianz snapped up the 24MW Gollnitz-West and 12MW Rehfeld plants, both in the German state of Brandenburg, from their developer UKA.
The group’s Allianz Renewable Energy Fund had already bought UKA’s nearby 11MW Proschim wind farm.
Allianz said: “Germany currently offers many first-rate opportunities for investments in onshore wind parks.
“The wind resource in Brandenburg is especially favourable, which leads to many benefits and the fact that more than 3,000 wind turbines have been erected in this region speaks for itself.”
