Bayerische Landesbank, New York Branch acted as the sole lead arranger, administrative agent, and lender for the transaction. The developer did not disclose financial terms.
Le Plateau 2 is located 483km east of Quebec City. The project will feature nine Enercon E-92 wind turbines, and will enter commercial operation in December.
Hydro-Québec Distribution will purchase the project’s electricity over 20 years.
“We’re pleased to complete project financing for Le Plateau 2, our first community partnership wind power generation facility in Québec,” says Jim Murphy, chief financial officer at Chicago-based Invenergy.
