Products that will be available in Germany include solutions for site screening, development and operations, such as the Virtual Met Mast, a site-specific wind analysis model-based tool, and the Virtual Met Mast Plus, a hub-height wind prediction tool tohelp select the best onshore and offshore sites.
"In Germany our focus will be on development, operations and maintenance. We also expect our seasonal forecasting capabilities to play a prominent role," says Met Office head of renewables Michelle Spillar.
