Statkraft nails Norway wind JV

The JV, Forsen Wind, will invest NKr7bn ($1.1bn) in three of nine licensed wind projects on the coast of the Trondelag region.

Forsen Wind will own the 220MW Storheia, 120MW Kvenndalsfjellet and 260MW Roan plants.

Statkraft will hold 50.1% of the new JV, with Agder Energi owning 20.9%, and NTE and TronderEnergi with a 14.5% ownership stake each.

The parties agreed that Statkraft will be responsible for the engineering, development and operation of the wind farm on behalf of the JV.
