The nacelle is destined for the 181MW Hermenegildo wind farm in southern Brazil, which is being built by federal power company Eletrosul using GE's 101 1.7-100 turbines.
According to GE, the nacelle has more than 60% local content and was delivered ahead of a January 1 2015 deadline set by the National Development Bank (BNDES).
The complex local-content rules set six-monthly landmarks until January 2016, when about 70% of content must be sourced locally.
