UK-based utility National Grid and NSTAR, an operating company of Northeast Utilities, have terminated PPAs equivalent to 364MW of capacity.

"National Grid is disappointed that Cape Wind has been unable to meet its commitments under the contract, resulting in yesterday's termination of the power purchase agreement," the utility says in a prepared statement.
