“We’re closing our three R&D facilities in the US,” he says in an email, with the move to be completed by second quarter 2013. About 85 workers are affected. The facilities are in Houston, Texas, Marlborough, Massachusetts, and Louisville, Colorado.
“Vestas has decided to further simplify its global research and development (R&D) footprint to reduce operational costs,” the company says in a statement.
