“That one factor has stifled the future growth and the forward movement of the industry into 2013,” AWEA chief economist Liz Salerno told members on a conference call Thursday. “We know that as an industry there are not projects currently scheduled for the year. Turbine manufacturers have not received orders for 2013.”
