The Japanese duo bought Seajacks from funds controlled by investment group Riverstone Holdings.
The sale is expected to close at the end of April. Marubeni says it intends to integrate the Seajacks business into its Power Projects & Infrastructure division.
The terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
In September, Marubeni bought a 49.9% stake in the 172MW Gunfleet Sands offshore wind farm in the UK in a $324m transaction.
Seajacks operates mainly in the European offshore wind sector, but is also active in the continent's offshore oil and gas markets.
