London-based fund manager Platina Partners will pay Infigen €71.3m ($95.7m) for its 52 megawatts (MW) of operational French wind assets, which it will fold into its recently closed European Renewable Energy Fund I.

Infigen will lose €2.9m on the deal before transaction-related costs are accounted for, according to managing director Miles George.

“The sale ¿ will provide additional cash for equity investment in our Australian wind farm development pipeline and is consistent with redirecting our future focus to the Australian renewable-energy market, which is poised for strong growth over the next 10 years,” George says.
