Theproject will be a nine-turbine wind farm in the the city of Xangri-lá, in the southern Rio Grande do Sul state.
Honda says the plant will generate 85GWh of power annually – equivalent to the demand of its entirevehicle-production operation in Brazil.
Honda does not specify a wind turbine supplier for theproject, which it aims to bring into service in September 2014.
