Eurogate said the 2.4MW Nordex turbine will provide between 25%and half of the terminal’s energy needs.
The port operator said: “By operating its own wind turbine thecompany hopes to lower energy costs over the medium to long term and becomelargely independent of price developments in the power and energy markets.”
