Acciona says the plant “is intended to reinforce the company’s commitment to the wind power market in Brazil, one with the greatest potential on a global level".
Acciona will build the plant in the state of Bahia. It will have the capacity to produce 100 of the company’s AW3000 3MW turbines per year, and will create 60 direct and 4000 indirect jobs.
