With the on-again-off-again Production Tax Credit (PTC) acting like a speed bump in the US wind market, GE has aggressively started chasing onshore orders in Europe under the leadership of Cliff Harris.
He took the reins as GE’s general manager for renewables in Europe this summer from Stephan Ritter.
Speaking today to Recharge, Harris said he hopes to at least double GE’s current 6% share of the European onshore wind-turbine market within a few years.
