The Indian company says its Suryachakra Green Power division has signed a memorandum of understanding to build the project at Dharapuram on a site already secured by WinWind.
WinWind’s Indian subsidiary, WPEPL, has shown interest in acquiring a 20% stake in the wind facility, Suryachakra tells its investors.
The Finnish group will supply turbines and provide operation and maintenance to the project for 10 years.
