Technip says it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Iberdrola to bid for two of the five offshore areas the French government has offered for competitive tender.
The companies will co-operate on design, engineering and construction of offshore wind farms, while Areva will supply the turbines for Iberdrola's French projects.
