"We have seen tremendous interest from customers in the V164 [Vestas's new 7MW offshore turbine design] and we are working on getting ink onto paper," Anders Søe-Jensen, president of Vestas offshore, tells Recharge.
The company is in talks with all UK Round 3 developers, except the SMart Wind consortium, of which Siemens is a member, and hopes to be able to sign letters of intent over turbines soon.
