Gamesa continues to view Hartlepool, England, as the other option as the home for its manufacturing, logistics, and operations and maintenance facilities in the UK.
The Spanish group says: "Dundee can't accommodate Gamesa's foreseen offshore requirements in terms of timescales and scope, in order to achieve the company's overall business plan objectives regarding the manufacture of our G11X-5.0MW and G14X-7.0MW offshore wind turbines."
