The deal concerns a strategic co-operation agreement signed between Sinovel and Romanian companies C-Tech and Rokura in Beijing last week. Its first stage is a contract to build a 189MW project with Sinovel’s 3MW turbines, Recharge understands.

But the deal could be scuppered by allegations made by ED chairman Christoph Kapp. His NEK group owns 50% of ED, while 33% is owned by Rokura and 17% by former ED director Corneliu Dica.
