As of 30 June, Spain’s cumulative capacity stood at 22.09GW.
The AEE points out that 2012 is an “atypical” year for the sector, because it is the last in which capacity listed in the government’s “pre-assignation” register can be constructed, and developers have rushed to make sure that any remaining capacity they have included is built.
