Vestas does not identify the destination of the turbines, but ContourGlobal today said its local subsidiary – ContourGlobal Latam – has bought two projects in Peru from developer Energia Eolica and named Vestas as their supplier.
ContourGlobal claims the Cupisnique and Talara projects will be the first large-scale wind farms in Peru and the largest in operation in South America outside Brazil.
